Having grown up in repertory theater since he was 11, Evan has performed across America in classical, modern and avant-garde productions. A classically trained actor, his work has included seasons at Actors Theatre of Louisville, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, La Jolla Playhouse, New Mexico Repertory, The Penthouse Theatre in Seattle, Los Angeles Theatre Center, The Culver Studios and The Mark Taper Forum. He has created performances in roles ranging from the classical repertory through 20th-century playwrights.

Coming to Los Angeles in the cast of ‘It’s A Man’s World’ with the renowned avant-garde theater company Mabou Mines, Evan began being cast in guest starring television roles including LA Law, The New Love American Style, FBI - The Untold Stories, The New Adam Twelve, Dragnet-The 90’s, as well as recurring roles on the daytime dramas General Hospital and The Young & The Restless. Evan has numerous commercials to his credit, including for General Motors, The Gap, Jack In The Box and Cherokee Sportswear.

Evan’s breakthrough into feature films came when he was cast in the starring role as Skip Carter in the third installment of The Ghoulies film series, Ghoulies Go To College, opposite Eva LaRue. This credit brought Evan opportunities for starring roles in feature and made-for-TV films, including Children Of The Night (with Karen Black), Scanner Cop, Dancing With Danger, The Learning Curve, Message From Nam, Bare Witness, Bad Dreams, and the Oscar-winning short film, Session Man. Currently, Evan has completed starring roles in the independent feature films The Disordered and Repentance, both of which are making the 2019-2020 Film Festival rounds.
